PMC PH-25 — Parts, Maintenance & Rig Guide
Low-pressure (2,000 psi) proportioner covering both the PH-25 console and its internal 120-size pump-line. Click a badge on either diagram to see the part, or ask us for pricing on anything not listed online yet.
1. Proportioner Console
The main PH-25 console: heaters, hydraulic drive, Y-strainers, and safety switches. Badges show the PMC part number.

2. Pump-Line Assembly (120-Size)
This is the actual wear pump inside the console — the “A” (Iso) and “R” (Poly) pumps that need seals, balls, and rebuild kits long before the whole machine ever needs replacing. PH-25 uses the 120-size pump-line.

Maintenance Guide
Daily
- Check the Iso lube reservoir. Replace the lube oil if it changes color or shows signs of solidifying — wipe the inside of the reservoir clean while you’re in there.
- Look for a light film of Poly (R) material on the pump shaft and wipe it away so dirt doesn’t accumulate and damage the shaft packings.
Bi-Weekly (or Daily if drums are opened before install)
- Inspect and clean the Iso and Poly inlet material screens before startup, not after — the unit should be purged immediately following any screen cleaning. Replace a screen once more than about 20% of its surface is blocked.
Yearly
- Service the hydraulic drive system: drain the tank, clean it out, inspect the suction pipe, and refill with 10 gal of approved ISO 32 hydraulic oil.
- Rebuild the “A” and “R” proportioning pumps while the machine is already out of service for the hydraulic drive work — this is the kit most PH-25 rebuilds actually need (KT-07000 / KT-07001 above).
As Needed
- Heater not heating and controller shows ambient temp: check the heater breaker first, then the solid-state relay LED, before assuming a fire rod is bad.
- Pumps won’t reverse direction: check the reversing plate and proximity switches before replacing the directional valve — a bent plate or dirty switch face is the more common cause.
- One pressure gauge reads low and won’t hold: this is almost always an inlet or discharge ball not seating properly on that side — clean or replace the ball/seat rather than assuming a bigger part has failed.
Full step-by-step procedures are in PMC’s official PH(X)-25/PH(X)-40 Service Manual (MN-04014) — we’re happy to walk through any of these over the phone.
Build Your Rig
A PH-25 doesn’t spray on its own — here’s what most rigs need alongside it.
Heated Hose & Whip Hose
Up to 410 ft max heated hose length with the 120V/5kVA transformer, 310 ft with the 90V/3kVA unit.
Ask usSpray Gun Package
AP-2 air-purge gun or PX-7 mechanical purge gun — both pair with the PH-25.
Ask usTransfer Pumps (A & R)
PMC P-52 2.2:1 transfer pump recommended per side, mounted on the drum — 10 GPM continuous duty keeps the metering pumps fed and avoids cavitation.
